Medical Camp
A successful medical camp was organized on 30th December 2025 at FPA India Bhawan, Ankur Complex, No. 6 Locality, Shivaji Nagar, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, by the Career Institute of Medical Science (CIMS) and Career College of Nursing, Bhopal. The primary objective of the camp was to bridge the healthcare access gap in the community and promote awareness about preventive health practices among the underserved population.The camp provided free healthcare services, including general health check-ups and basic diagnostic screenings. A total of 48 individuals benefited from the camp, where vital parameters such as blood pressure, pulse rate, oxygen saturation (SpO?), body weight, and blood sugar levels were measured. In addition, participants received expert medical advice, health education, and guidance on lifestyle modification and the importance of timely medical consultation.The event was successfully conducted with the support of a dedicated healthcare team comprising one female doctor, one nurse, and second-semester B.Sc. Nursing students. The nursing students actively participated in patient assessment, health education, and overall coordination, gaining valuable hands-on clinical experience.The camp received positive feedback from the beneficiaries, many of whom expressed appreciation and requested similar initiatives in the future. Overall, the medical camp was a meaningful learning experience that enhanced practical knowledge, teamwork, and community engagement while contributing positively to public health.
